Galaxy S5 is one of the most awaited devices of the year. There are many reasons behind it, most important among them is the device being successor of tremendously popular Galaxy S4. Rumours regarding the specs, design and built of the device have been in air for quite a long time and MWC may bring the first glimpse of it. But the question is, whether the device will live up to the expectations of the people or not. An AnTuTu Benchmark reveals few facts, which are very disheartening.
If the Benchmarks are to be considered, the Galaxy S5 will not be featuring, most talked about 2k Quad HD display. Instead, a full HD display of Galaxy S4 and Note 3 will again be seen in the Galaxy S5 along with a 16 MP camera and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The processor, however, is Snapdragon 800 form Qualcomm, clocked at slightly higher speed of 2.5 GHz instead of the 2.3 GHz of current flagship Galaxy Note 3, also 2 GB RAM and same Adreno 330 GPU will be seen in the latest Smartphone from the Korean company.
It was expected that the latest Snapdragon 805 and 3 GB RAM will be seen in the device along with a fingerprint scanner, which have not been mentioned in the benchmarks. We hope that rumours come true, defying this benchmark test, and we see an improvised version of the Galaxy S4.
